It's been a while since I last blogged about Toronto's favourite food spots...one year to be exact! Since then I have decided to grow my food blog beyond restaurants and share popups, events & exciting adventures in the Greater Toronto Area & beyond!
With the weather getting chilly & the summer festivals coming to an end, we need more indoor places where we can create our own eats! Here are 5 places that let you create your own food experiences in Toronto!
After the successful @kitkatcanada popup last year where you could customize the box with your name, the limited edition chocolate and toppings of your choice. Kit Kat Canada will be launching their first Canadian flagship KITKAT Chocolatory store this fall at @yorkdalestyle Toronto!
So if you missed the experience to create your own KitKat break you can definitely look forward to this next level break in Toronto permenantly! #KITKATCanada
The new Middle Eastern restaurant Azkadenya at Queen Street West Toronto brings the new concept of DIY shawarma alive by letting you make your own table side Shawarma & your own platter complete with falafel & your choice of rice or bread made in-store, down to each dip & sauce.
Their chain originates from Jordon and is spread all over the Middle East and this is their first time in North America. Everything is made in house and their restaurant is definitely Instagram worthy!
Labothery X Daan Go Cake Lab
Did you guys hear about the collaboration between Labothéry which is the first 'make-your-own' bubble tea shop here in Toronto and DaanGo Labs that let's you personalize your favourite desserts down to each detail coming together under one roof at Richmond Adelaide Centre.
Daan Go is also launching a Daan Go Cafe opening on November 2019 which will have all your favourites including brunch and HK Milk Tea!
Cereal Box Cafe
We all love popups and the Cereal Box Cafe popup was a hit the second time this summer! What's better then choosing your cereal, milk & toppings! This year you could eat the cereal infused ice-cream at their Milkys Coffee location.
The good news is their permanent location is coming soon! This will make them the first Cereal Cafe in Toronto! Its surprising there isn't one already in this big city!
The Food District
Mississauga foodies I haven't forgotten about you and neither has The Food District! The interactive food concept offers tastings, cooking classes, dinner parties, book signings, and many other special events!
So why not get hands-on and create your own Rainbow Bagel or even your own rich and creamy Risotto! Check out the full cooking classes schedule here!
